Eng. The sculptures of magnetic soul are instruments that intone the visual and sonic occupation of a physical space. Their materiality is created through the union of distinct elements, supported by a surgical act of construction, placed in dialogue in an attempt to resonate a life period when set to vibrate. The circumferences present guitar strings crossing their diameters, tensioned with the help of magnets at their ends, floating in a precarious stability proposed by the invisible magnetic force. These sculpture-instruments then invite the agent to challenge their doubtful balance and thus fill the sonic ‘non-void’ of the environment where they are installed. Work carried out in 2019 during final graduation research.
Pt. As esculturas de alma magnética são instrumentos que entoam ocupação visual e sonora de um espaço físico. Sua materialidade é criada a partir da união de elementos distintos, apoiado em um ato cirúrgico de construção, que são colocados a dialogar na tentativa de ressoar um período de vida quando postas a vibrar. As circunferências apresentam cordas de guitarra que cruzam seus diâmetros, tensionadas com ajuda de imãs em suas extremidades que flutuam em uma estabilidade precária proposta pela invisível força magnética. As esculturas-instrumento convidam então o agente a desafiar seu equilíbrio duvidoso e assim preencher o 'não-vazio' sonoro do ambiente onde estão instaladas. Trabalho realizado em 2019 durante pesquisa de conclusão de curso.
